Benny (Cordell James Gerber) is just a boy... a lonely boy. His only friend is a scarecrow affectionately calls 'Mr. Boo' (Rick Davis). There's only 1 small problem, that scarecrow resides on the neighbor's lawn. Mrs. Hodder (Wendy Davis Boyer) and Mr. Hodder (Todd Livingood) are always chasing Benny of thier property.
This enrages Benny's stepfather Frank (Richard "Rico" Bauthier) who's already an asshole to begin with. During an argument with Benny's mother Julie (Kelly Gerber), Frank "accidentally" kills Julie & Benny.
This enrages Mr. Boo and her goes on a rampage!
Another simple but gripping story from Legacy Verse. I love their movies and hope to maybe do some collaborations with them on some level?? <<hint hint Keith>> :)
This movie was part of a 2 pack. The second movie was called 'Beer Run'.
I love the way this movie was filmed... the old 1920's silent movie with ragtime music. While playing cards, the group runs out of beer. So one of them (Keith Munden) goes out for more. While he's out, a stranger (Richard "Rico" Gauthier) wants in on the game. They all welcome him.
During the game, an arument escalates quickly. By the time Keith comes back, it's not a pleasent site!
Brilliantly done... the ragetime really caught me off-guard... in a good way! No-budget movie at it's finest!
